Why We Exist

Our Mission

The belief behind everything we build.

"The hallmark of truly great software is simple: it leaves the world better, or more enjoyable, for everyday people."

That's the bar we hold ourselves to, and it shapes every decision we make — from what we choose to build, to how we charge for it.

Vulps Development is an independent studio. Every project we've launched exists because we spotted a gap, felt the friction personally, or saw a community that deserved better tools than it had. The internet is where a lot of people spend a significant portion of their lives. It should work better for them.

We hold a straightforward view: if you can see a way to make the digital world a better place, and you have the capacity to build it, you have a moral obligation to try. That's not idealism — it's just accountability.

Core Pillars

Safer. Smarter. Closer.

Safer

Digital spaces should be secure. Full stop.

That means stepping into unmoderated territory to build heavily protected adult environments when nobody else will — and it means fiercely keeping children out of spaces they shouldn't be. We write code that puts user safety above all else, and we back it with active, human moderation.

Smarter

Good software removes friction. The best software removes friction you stopped noticing.

We build quality-of-life tools for the small, recurring annoyances that communities just silently tolerate — like doing timezone maths every time someone wants to schedule a game. That maths shouldn't be anyone's problem. So we made it ours.

Closer

The internet can be deeply isolating, especially for people who struggle to put themselves out there.

We build tools that lower the barrier to connection — helping introverts, everyday gamers, and people who just want to find their people actually do it. Not through forced interaction, but by removing the practical obstacles that get in the way.

Honest Code. Honest Pricing.

Monetisation that makes sense

Software should be priced for reality, not maximum extraction.

Our monetisation exists to sustain the ecosystem: to pay the server bills, to fairly compensate the volunteer developers and moderators who grind behind the scenes, and to give us the runway to keep building. That's it.

We keep subscriptions significantly below industry norms and offer accessible micro-tier options, because our tools should stay in the hands of the communities that need them — not just the ones that can afford a premium price tag.
